The following documents are available in pdf format (download Acrobat Reader):
- The Research Guide outlines writing style and format to be used by students in grades 6-12.
- Student Handbook (contains policies, procedures, and other basic information for students/parents.
- The Grading Expectations Policy provides a timetable for teachers' returning student work.
- The Athletic Travel Permission Form must be signed by parents to allow a student athlete to not travel the team bus to/from an athletic contest (date specific)
- The Planned Absence Request Form must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to school at least five school days before the requested absence.
- Timetable: Regular, 2-hour weather delay, early dismissal, late start.
- Reenrollment forms: Checklist, HS form, MS form.

ALL STUDENTS: Today in one of your classes you will receive a magazine from Indiana Department of Education that gives tips for academic success, including an overview of academic standards. Take this home and read it over with your parents.
A silver/gray ring was lost in the library. It looks like three rings linked together. If you find it, bring it to Margaret in the library.
News from the library: Newly released less than two weeks ago, Mockingjay, the much-awaited third book in Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games Trilogy is now available for you to check out, along with a number of other exciting new titles. First come, first served.
HIGH SCHOOL: So you think you can argue? Try debate. Bruin speech and debate team informational meeting is next Thursday at 12:45 in Michael’s room.
The cast list for Frog and Toad will be posted before the end of the school day today. If you have been cast, please stop by the chapel after school to pick up your script. Thank you to all who auditioned!
After-school clean up jobs are posted. Check the list to see where you are assigned. Jobs will begin on Tuesday after Labor Day. Everyone should plan to meet in their clean up groups with supervisors immediately after school on Tuesday to go over job expectations.
SPORTS—MIDDLE SCHOOL: The boys soccer B team tied Oak Farm Montessori 2-2. Natan Nafziger scored both goals with an assist from Martin Gerig. Jordan Haarer had 7 saves in goal. Tonight the B and A teams play at Concord beginning at 4:30. The games are on the varsity field at the high school.
The volleyball A team defeated Lakeland Christian in three close games (23-25, 25-24, 15-14). Olivia Copsey delivered the winning serves. The B team lost in two games (21-25, 19-25).
SPORTS—HIGH SCHOOL: The varsity volleyball team lost a close match to Prairie Heights (22-25, 27-25, 14-25, 24-26). Inspired by Hank, Marla zumFelde once again led the team with 23 kills with assists from Mandy Schlabach, Mattie Lehman, and Elise Romero. The JV also lost. the teams host Bremen next Tuesday.
Tonight the JV and varsity boys soccer teams play at Northridge, which is the round of the Carroll tourney for the varsity. Tomorrow the varsity continues play at Carroll (in Fort Wayne). The C team will host Carroll on Monday at 5:00
Tuesday’s home boys soccer match with Lakeland will have the varsity start at 5:00 and then be followed by a 40-minute JV contest. This is due to the number of players Lakeland has available to play. Make sure anyone you know who comes to games knows of this change.
Tomorrow the boys tennis team hosts Triton at 10 a.m. The JV girls volleyball plays in the Elkhart Christian invitational at 9 a.m.
